With over 30 years of experience between them in travel, transport, tourism and technology, co-founders James Dunne, Kew Muthalif, and Lachlan McCallum started Metro 1 in early 2019 with the goal of providing sustainable forms of transportation to customers around the globe.

A company dedicated to environmentally friendly forms of transport; Metro 1 is the first start-up to sign a SilverRail Technology (SRT) contract since 2015.

Dale Ventures’ investment is helping Metro 1 with its bold vision – to be the world’s first universal travel app that enables customers to plan, book and pay for travel across rail and all other forms of public transport.
